SCPC vs NPC Tournament 29th of Oct at Caloundra Indoor Stadium 

Ok Club Members this is it. The first Noosa vs Sunshine Coast tournament. Are you keen to represent the club and take up the goal to win as many points as possible to get a win for Noosa? Registration is opening on 11th of Sept at 8AM Find a partner, register we are looking for three teams in every event. Registration opens 11th of September  @ 8.00am for SCPC and NPC players with up to date club membership ONLY. Memberships will be checked on the Revolutionise portal, any players that do not have up to date memberships with SCPC or NPC will be removed from the tournament.

Training: Rod Edwards has volunteered to host training days for Noosa Pickleball Club Members.

Dual Club Membership: Some players have both Noosa and Sunshine Coast membership, you may be contacted to verify which club you are playing for.

Entry Fee: $35 per player. Second event entries $15.

Registration closes: 14th of October, 11.55pm.  

Details

  • This tournament will use current IFP rules that can be found at IFP Official Rules of Pickleball.
  • This tournament will be "Recognised" by Pickleball Australia Association.
  • Results of games will change your current Pickleball Brackets Rating.

Additional details:

  1. Events are limited to 6 teams per event, 3 teams from each club.
  2. Entries will be taken in a first in first served basis.
  3. All Players are guaranteed 3 games, full events will have 5 guaranteed round robin games plus finals.
  4. Round robin games will be games to 11 win by 1, Finals will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.
  5. Winners of events will be recorded and photographed for club records.
  6. In order to keep costs down no physical medals will be awarded.
  7. The  perpetual trophy will go to the Club with the highest points tally.  Points are awarded for each event: Gold = 3 points, Silver = 2 points and Bronze =1 point.

Please note

  • When registration is closed any event with insufficient numbers for a competition will need to be collapsed and combined with another event. Competitors in the collapsed event will be notified.
  • The tournament director reserves the right to cancel or modify events and/or schedule as needed pending influences beyond our control.
